On September 6, 2021, XCMG launched two "mine model excavators" xe600dk and xe690dk simultaneously, which are suitable for various heavy load conditions such as mine construction.

As the only enterprise in China and one of the few in the world that can develop and manufacture complete sets of large-scale open-pit mining equipment, XCMG has two categories and a full range of products from 1.5 tons to 700 tons of hydraulic excavators and from 30 tons to the world's largest 400 tons of mining dump trucks, which can meet the diversified construction needs of customers all over the world.

Since 2010, XCMG excavator has started from 70t and 90t mining excavators, and has taken the step of independent research and development of large tonnage excavators.

In 2014, XCMG excavator seized the opportunity of mining machinery transformation, continued to promote the industrialization of mining machinery, fought for "three high and one large", made independent innovation and climbed to the peak, and successfully developed 300 ton and 400 ton super large excavators, pushing the level of mining machinery industry to a new level.

In 2018, XCMG's 700 ton hydraulic excavator, which has the reputation of "the first excavation in China", went offline, marking that China has become the fourth country in the world to have the R & D and manufacturing capacity of hydraulic excavators of more than 700 tons after Germany, Japan and the United States.

Large open pit mining equipment is the core component of the "crown pearl" of the world's high-end equipment industry. XCMG took the lead in making a breakthrough in this field and provided advanced equipment for mining all over the world.
